Pink Day 2023

A wave of pink swept through BSKL on November 17th as we celebrated our annual community charity event, Pink Day. This year's event was nothing short of spectacular, with our collective efforts resulting in an astounding sum of over RM40,000 raised for charity.

The heart of Pink Day lies in our commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. This year, we were honoured to support four incredible charities: Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA), Assisi Palliative Care (ASPAC), Malaysian Association of Paediatric Palliative Care (MAPPAC), and the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.

Representatives from these organisations joined us for the event, engaging with parents and students alike. During our primary assembly, they shared insights into their missions and how the funds we raised will contribute to their work. It was a powerful moment that connected our school community directly to the positive change we are collectively fostering.

The day was abuzz with activity, featuring a diverse array of stalls that catered to both parents and children. The vibrant atmosphere was a testament to the spirit of generosity that defines the BSKL community.

One of the highlights of Pink Day was the Pink Boot Camp, a spirited initiative that saw primary and secondary students joining forces in an energetic display of solidarity. The sea of pink-clad participants not only had a blast but also symbolised our united front against adversity.
