British Mathematical Olympiad - Round 1

Following their success in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge, 4 of our brilliant Year 12 Mathematicians entered the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1.

Jihu, Carys, Taehyun and Matthew each spent 3 and a half hours attempting 6 incredibly challenging questions designed to stretch and challenge their Mathematics knowledge and problem-solving abilities. You can view the paper here.

Really well done to all who took part! A particular congratulations to Matthew who achieved a Certificate of Merit and Jihu who achieved a Certificate of Merit and the Best in School Award!

The next Maths competition coming up is the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge on Thursday 1st February.
