Teachers artfully took the theme of sleep, to set the scene for a big Spanish sleepover on stage which came to life with discussions, dances and songs about the films our pupils watch together on an occasion like this.
The costumes, dance and music were beautiful, and no pupil missed their move or skipped a beat. The choreography was first class. However, what shone through even brighter was the linguistic prowess of our pupils. It was startling how our Primary aged pupils delivered lines in skits and in song in Spanish with a level of fluency and conviction that was a joy to hear.
This week's blog was written by Mrs Stringer, Deputy Head of Primary.
At BSKL, we deeply value the opportunities that come from learning outside the classroom. One of the most powerful examples of this is our school residential programme.
At BSKL, we firmly believe that fostering independence and autonomy in children is vital to their personal growth, confidence, and success.
