The British Vietnamese International School (BVIS) Ho Chi Minh City is proud to be recognised by Microsoft as a Microsoft Showcase School for the 2025–2026 academic year – a prestigious title awarded to schools worldwide that excel in applying technology to teaching, learning, and educational management.  

This achievement highlights BVIS’s continuous commitment to innovation in education, enhancing teaching and learning quality, strengthening community engagement, and preparing students with essential skills for a confident future.

Innovation in Technology at BVIS 

To reach this important milestone, BVIS has implemented the Education Transformation Framework (ETF) – a comprehensive educational development model that demonstrates excellence across six key criteria:

Notably, 100% of BVIS teachers have achieved the Microsoft Certified Educator qualification, with over 20% completing the AI for Educators course, marking a significant step in integrating artificial intelligence into teaching.

Celebrating 8 Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEEs) 

Alongside becoming a Showcase School, BVIS is proud to have eight teachers and staff members recognised as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEEs) for the 2025–2026 academic year:  

  • Mr. John Twemlow – Computer Science Teacher 
  • Mr. James Webb – English and Media Teacher 
  • Mr. Julian Stafford – Business and Economics Teacher 
  • Mr. Tuấn Tạ – ICT Manager 
  • Mr. Darragh Shanahan – Deputy Head of Primary 
  • Ms. Trâm Vũ – Year 6 Teacher & ICT Integration Coordinator 
  • Mr. Jonathan Gordge – ICT & Computing Teacher 
  • Ms. Hiền Lê – Year 2 Teacher
