Multidisciplinary education is here to stay

The multidisciplinary real-life projects allow students to connect the theory with practice and understand its real-world application, all while having fun!

For example, learning IT and maths has never been funnier. This past semester, 6 grade students have programmed their robots to power their own construction vehicles. Budget also counts. They have had to calculate the cost of their vehicles by checking the given price of each of the pieces used. At the end of the project a race takes place and the fastest car wins!

In Champittet Nyon, as part of an introductory course on fractions, students took part in an activity where they had to be creative: think like a chef and a mathematician at the same time to properly measure the ingredients of their recipes! On the menu: pizza and cookies.

Another example is the must-attend STEAM competition in which our students in grades 6-10 participate each year.

These academic challenges encourage students to collaborate each quarter to find innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.
