Some of your child’s experiences will get them out of the classroom and into the community. We embed service learning across all age groups, encouraging our students to enact meaningful change through local outreach programmes by fundraising or volunteering for causes they care about. For example, we organise a Winter Accessories Appeal in support of Roundabout, a charity that delivers warm clothes to families in need.

Over the past five years, BSB Sanlitun's parents have consistently ranked their children's happiness as one of the main reasons for recommending our school to their friends. As a school with small class sizes, our students always get the right level of challenge and support they need. If your child is new to the English language, or hasn’t had much experience in an English-speaking environment, our English as an Additional Language (EAL) department can support them with immersive English lessons.

Technology is built into our curriculum to ensure students receive a high-quality STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) education. They have access to a wide range of technologies, including interactive whiteboards, iPads, VR headsets, Spheros, and 3D printers. Our international parent community comprises 60 nationalities, and we welcome families from all across the world. We arrange numerous social and educational activities designed to bring families together to make friends, build connections, and strengthen the home–school partnership.

For example, our Parents Association is instrumental in helping new families settle into life at BSB Sanlitun.
