Today the children were learning all about animals that live in the polar regions, both Arctic and Antarctic. Using their knowledge of adaptation, they were working in their Kagan groups to discuss how the animals were suited to live in one of the harshest habitats on the planet. The children were able to answer among other questions :
It's hard to imagine just how cold life at the planets poles would be but through sharing their knowledge the children were able to develop their understanding. Another great example of how team work helps us, another success for Team 2!
Our Year 7 students went on two amazing trips to Sibu Island, Malaysia, for their year group residential. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in a vibrant new culture, students had the chance to connect with their friends and make memories that will last forever.
