As part of our school Lifeskills/ASDAN programme, students from INRL have been going to the NLB Bukit Panjang Public Library for work placement since the beginning of the academic term.
The goal of the work experience programme is to better prepare our students for independence and transition into the workforce for other community integration. The work placement at the library has been a great success thus far. The student were very motivated and worked with much enthusiasm. They picked up the skills pretty quickly. The manager and head Librarian were very pleased with their excellent behaviour and work attitude.
To show their appreciation and thankfulness, we were given complimentary tickets to visit the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest at Gardens By The Bay.

Our Year 7 students went on two amazing trips to Sibu Island, Malaysia, for their year group residential. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in a vibrant new culture, students had the chance to connect with their friends and make memories that will last forever.
