During yesterday's Parent Workshop Year Group Leader for Year 6, Charlotte Prince, gave a presentation about homework.
As an all-through school we benefit from the opportunity to make the transition between the key stages smoother. The homework in Year 6 serves as an introduction to the way the students are working in Secondary School and its aim is to make the students more independent and responsible of their own learning. It might seem daunting in the beginning, but we are always amazed how well the children are coping.
