What an amazing experience! Year 4 have now completed their residential to Kota and they have made fabulous memories that they will never forget.

This trip gave Year 4 the chance to make new friends and learn outside of the classroom. There were many activities to keep them busy including:  planting tapioca, raft building, making flags and medals for the survival games. They learnt a lot about rainforests and we also took the opportunity to teach them about settlers which will be part of their next IPC topic ‘Scavengers and Settlers’. All of the children showed different IPC learning goals throughout the trip including resilience and collaboration. It was wonderful to see so many smiles throughout the trips and some of them wanted to stay for even longer! During meal times and shady time, the children were well behaved and worked hard to try and win the ‘Best Kept Room’ award. The winner of this award will be revealed soon!  I have no doubt that they will be talking about this trip for a while.
