We recently came together to celebrate the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025, marking a significant milestone for our students, bringing together families, teachers, and the entire school community. The celebration was filled with pride and inspiration, highlighted by the attendance of HE Nikesh Mehta OBE, the British High Commissioner to Singapore, who honoured us with his presence.
Mr Dominic O’Shea, Head of Sixth Form, beautifully captured the essence of our graduates’ journey, highlighting their hard work and resilience: “You should take great pride and satisfaction in the hard work that has brought you to this day. There have been many challenges along the way, but through these, you have demonstrated and developed your resilience and drive to succeed—qualities that will take you far as you embark on life beyond DCIS.”
Mrs Rachel Edwards, Head of Secondary School, expressed her pride in our diverse community and encouraged graduates to uphold their values and be positive influences in the world: “Be champions of inclusion, stand up for others, and live your values. Know that you are more than enough and deserving of all good things. Above all, be good people... good ancestors.”
Our Principal Mr Richard Dyer, addressed the graduates with heartfelt encouragement, stating, “You’ve worked hard, built friendships, developed passions, and made lasting memories. You’ve grown not only in knowledge but also in character. You are ready. We believe in you, and if we—your teachers and your families—have done our jobs well, you believe in yourselves too.”
As we celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025, we look forward to seeing where their journeys will take them next. Warmest congratulations to our Sixth Form graduates!
