Sport plays a central role in student life at Dover Court International School (DCIS), and this Season 2 has been an inspiring example of the energy, spirit and community our students bring to the fields and courts. Whether new to Singapore or long‑standing members of the DCIS community, our students embraced competition with pride, resilience and teamwork across local and regional events.
From ACSIS Season 2 achievements to success at FOBISIA Gymnastics and sports partnerships, our Wolves have demonstrated resilience, teamwork and excellence across every arena.

A Welcoming and Inclusive Sports Programme
At DCIS, we welcome students from around the world, and our sports programme is designed to support students of all backgrounds and abilities. This season, more than 300 students trained and competed as part of our Wolves teams across multiple sports, including basketball, football, rugby, touch, badminton, swimming and volleyball.

ACSIS Season 2: Excellence Across Multiple Sports
The ACSIS (Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools) league provides opportunities for international school students to compete across a wide range of sports. Our Wolves embraced the challenge, showing teamwork, resilience and commitment throughout the season. With over 50% of our teams earning medals, our students enjoyed one of the most successful ACSIS seasons to date, while also developing friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging.

Beyond the podium finishes, we are incredibly proud of the progress, sportsmanship and commitment shown by every DCIS athlete this season.

FOBISIA Gymnastics: Strong Performances on the Regional Stage
This season, four DCIS gymnasts competed in the FOBISIA Gymnastics Championships, one of the most established regional events for international schools in Asia. Against strong competitors, our students performed exceptionally well. A standout performance by Jack in Year 9 resulted in:

International School Friendly Matches: Building Skills, Confidence and Community
In addition to ACSIS and FOBISIA, our Wolves participated in friendly fixtures with international schools across Singapore. These matches are an important part of our inclusive sports culture, providing students with valuable game time, chances to develop their skills and opportunities to apply their learning in a positive, supportive environment.
Our U10 and U11 Football Development Squads took part in friendly matches with The Perse School, gaining first‑hand experience in teamwork, communication and real‑match decision‑making. These fixtures help young athletes continue building technical ability, understanding of the game and confidence on the pitch.
Our Year 8 Badminton team also enjoyed a competitive and enjoyable friendly match with The Winstedt School, showcasing consistency, resilience and excellent sportsmanship across a series of closely contested games. We look forward to hosting The Winstedt School for a return match later this term.
These matches help students connect with peers across Singapore, gain playing experience at their level, and grow into confident, capable athletes.

Looking Ahead to Season 3
At Dover Court, every student has the opportunity to participate, grow and shine, whether competing at the highest level or discovering a new passion for sport. With strong results, personal development and outstanding team spirit across all sports, it has been a memorable season for the Wolves. We’re excited to carry this momentum into Season 3 and continue offering opportunities for all students to develop skills, confidence, and lifelong passions, and to celebrate the achievements of our DCIS athletes.

Well done to all players and coaches — and Go Wolves!
