Dover Court International School (DCIS) is proud to announce that it has been recognised with four awards at the 2026 HoneyKids Singapore Education Awards:

  • Gold - Diversity and Inclusive Community Award
  • Silver - Student Wellbeing Award
  • Editor's Choice - International School with the Most Future-Ready Students
  • Editor's Choice - The Curriculum Award (British)

These awards recognise Dover Court's commitment to providing a well-rounded education where inclusion and wellbeing lay the foundation for academic excellence, personal growth, and the development of future-ready skills.

The Gold Award for Diversity and Inclusive Community also marks the sixth consecutive year Dover Court has been recognised in this category, highlighting the school's long-standing commitment to fostering a culture of belonging for all students.

The HoneyKids Education Awards celebrate schools that demonstrate excellence in areas including student experience, school culture, vision, academic outcomes and community impact. Judged by an independent panel of education experts, the awards recognise schools that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families across Singapore.

Richard Vaughan, Principal of Dover Court International School, said:

"I am incredibly proud to see Dover Court recognised across four categories at this year's HoneyKids Education Awards. While each award celebrates a different aspect of school life, together they reflect something much bigger: our commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.

We believe that outstanding education is about far more than academic results alone. It's about creating a community where students feel a genuine sense of belonging, where wellbeing is prioritised, and where young people develop the skills, confidence and character to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

These awards are a testament to our dedicated staff, supportive families and remarkable students who bring our values to life every day. It is an honour to celebrate this achievement with our entire Dover Court community."

Recognition for Excellence in International Education in Singapore

The Gold Award for Diversity and Inclusive Community reflects the school's longstanding commitment to creating an environment where every student feels known, valued and supported. With students from more than 65 nationalities and a culture built on belonging, inclusion is an integral part of everyday life at Dover Court. By ensuring every student feels a sense of belonging and receives the support they need, the school creates the conditions for academic success, confidence and personal growth.

Initiatives such as the Inclusion Ambassador Programme, which empowers students to champion belonging and celebrate diversity across the school community, help ensure that these values are lived, not simply stated.

The Silver Award for Student Wellbeing acknowledges Dover Court's whole-school approach to supporting students academically, socially and emotionally. Wellbeing is embedded through pastoral care, specialist support, student leadership opportunities, wellbeing education and strong partnerships with families. Recent initiatives such as the Teen Wellbeing Series further strengthen this approach by equipping parents and carers with practical strategies to support young people's wellbeing and helping to build a strong network of support around every student.

Why Dover Court International School Has Been Recognised for Future-Ready Students

Dover Court was also recognised with the Editor's Choice Award for International School with the Most Future-Ready Students. The award celebrates the school's focus on developing the human skills that matter most in an increasingly complex world, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, adaptability and independence. Through partnerships with organisations such as Project Zero at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Nord Anglia Education's global research initiatives, Dover Court students learn how to think deeply, solve meaningful problems and develop the human capabilities that will help them succeed in a rapidly evolving future.

Across the school, teachers use Dover Court's Core Thinking Routines and metacognitive strategies to encourage students to question, consider different perspectives, reflect on their learning and develop deeper understanding. By learning how to think, not just what to think, students become more confident, independent learners prepared for life beyond the classroom.

In recognising Dover Court as the International School with the Most Future-Ready Asia Students, HoneyKids highlighted the school's commitment to developing young people who can think critically, adapt confidently, solve complex problems, collaborate with others and thrive in a future where many careers have yet to be imagined.

"We appreciate Dover Court International School's belief that success has no single definition, and definitely not by exam results alone. As a platform run by parents for parents, it's especially heartening to know that the school is committed to nurturing children into individuals who have the ability to think critically, adapt confidently, solve complex problems, collaborate with others, and make meaningful contributions to the world around them. We believe this prepares children for the workplace of tomorrow as well as jobs that don't yet exist." - HoneyKids Asia
