Originally from South Africa, Bridget relocated to Switzerland with her diplomat husband and four children in 1987.
Bridget holds a degree from the University of Witwatersrand, with a distinction in teaching, and a CELTA qualification - the latter being invaluable in teaching non native English speakers.
Bridget keeps current with developments in education, and she has been a delegate at a number of conferences. Professional highlights include being selected as Lead Teacher (Primary School) and participating in the Best Practices in Teaching conference in Florida, U.S.A.
She is passionate about education, which she finds dynamic, exciting and challenging, and has a particular interest in ethics and character education. 'I believe in aspirational and inspirational education,' she says, 'and I try to encourage children to strive for what they believe in, remain focused and never lose sight of their goals.'
She is excited by innovation and forward thinking people who push the boundaries and persevere in trying to make the world a better place for future generations.
