In a world in which people are more mobile than ever, parents want an international school that can equip their children with the learning, enthusiasm and skills needed to embrace any opportunity that comes their way. Our school combines a commitment to high standards of education, with a desire to develop a student's character, confidence and world view.
Our Story
We've come a long way in a short time. Our original school in Mont-sur-Rolle had 42 students and seven members of staff in September 2008. By the end of the first academic year, student numbers had doubled. We opened up our secondary section in that first year, and served our growing school community from a larger campus in Vich.
In September 2011, we became part of Nord Anglia Education's family of premium schools. Nord Anglia Education is recognised worldwide for its dedication to education, and its work with students in international schools around the world. We are now part of a global family of 68 international schools, providing outstanding education to over 66,000 students from preschool through to the end of secondary education.
In 2014 we moved in our brand-new purpose-built campus in Aubonne.
As we continue to grow, we are committed to maintaining this positive culture and community that everyone has worked so hard to build and our focus will always remain on the child.
Our vision
Our students are nurtured to become enthusiastic learners with principles and empathy. They are taught to become adaptable, responsible, tolerant and sensitive citizens, comfortable both as leaders and as part of a team. We work with school staff and local enterprises to establish an extensive range of after-school clubs, both on campus and in the community itself.
Our curriculum is inspired by Nord Anglia Education's unique Be Ambitious approach. We believe there is no limit to what our students can achieve. Therefore, we encourage them to be ambitious, to reach for their dreams, to step outside their comfort zones and try something new, igniting their curiosity and instilling a lifelong love for learning.
As an international school, we strive to nurture students who understand and respect different cultures. Nord Anglia Education’s unique learning platform, Global Campus, connects our students with peers from all NAE schools worldwide in order to learn and interact with one another through collaborative projects. In addition, we ensure that our students develop a keen understanding of Switzerland through trips and activities within the community.
We believe that you as a parent should also have the chance to influence the development of the curriculum and the school through individual feedback and parent groups. Regular communication with parents is therefore particularly important to us and your child.
Teachers are committed to the highest standards of education, and work with their peers in our school and across the global Nord Anglia Education family to develop innovative new ways of achieving high-quality results. Nord Anglia University, our exclusive professional development platform, provides our teachers with exceptional resources to ensure that they, too, are inspired to be lifelong learners.
