Kim Van Helvoort

Kim Van Helvoort

Site and Operational Manager

Central to Kim’s role as Operations and Site Manager is to provide all LCIS students with a healthy and secure environment where they can best learn and thrive. Whether it be inside the classroom, on the playing field or a class trip location away from school, Kim’s objective is to give value-adding operational and logistics support to teachers and students in all their educational activities.

Originally from mid-western USA, Kim is a dual national American-Swiss. After completing a BA degree in International Studies at Miami University, she continued to the London School of Economics to obtain a MSc degree in Industrial Relations. Living in Switzerland for over 20 years, she is now a fluent French and German speaker.  Kim first came to LCIS in 2011 as a Primary Teaching Assistant and Extra-Curricular Activities Coordinator, before moving to her current role in 2014 when the school moved to its newly-built site in Aubonne.

In her free time, she enjoys Switzerland’s mountains and forests when skiing, biking and hiking with family and friends.
