Francesca

Nursery Teacher

My name is Francesca and I am an Early Years and Primary teacher with Qualified Teacher Status gained from the Institute of Education, University College of London.

I have an Honors Degree in Literature and Classics from the University of Bologna and Master’s Degree in Language, Culture, and History from University College of London.

I have been teaching for 8 years, both in the U.K, at Rotherhithe Primary School, and abroad, at Mount View International Primary School, in Malawi, as a class teacher and Early Years Coordinator.

I am very passionate about Early Years and my teaching philosophy is based on fostering independence and confidence and learning through play. In my daily practice, I follow the English curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage, which I integrate with several other teaching approaches from around the world, with a strong focus on interactive learning and critical thinking.

I believe children are born ready to learn and eager to interact with the world around them and it is my mission as a teacher to offer them the best possible start in their education journey and to ignite a lifelong love of learning through sensory activities and exciting explorations.

I am bilingual, I speak English and Italian and I am learning Portuguese. My passions include traveling, swimming and horse riding.

I have just moved to Sao Paulo and I look forward to sharing my expertise and skills with you and your children!
