Having worked at BCB for four years now I have had the chance to grow with the school and develop professionally as we have evolved as an organisation. I have enjoyed teaching in all key stages and feel I have learned as much from the children I have met on my journey as I have taught them.
As a practitioner, I am passionate about child centred learning and committed to helping the school develop each child's understanding of problem solving and independence. I was lucky enough to receive STEAM training at MIT and am always looking for an opportunity to light the fire of an inquisitive mind. By creating a collaborative and communicative environment I believe each child can excel to their own strengths.
Before entering teaching I studied law in the UK. As part of this I learned about UN law, and this has led me to run the school's Model United Nations as an ECA.
Since becoming a teacher I have worked in Asia and Europe and love being part of BCB's multicultural society. I have been fortunate to teach children from all over the world since joining the school and my passion for lifelong learning is always reignited by each new class.
In my role as phase leader I have been in the privileged position of meeting many parents from both campuses and the sense of community is something that has made me feel at home in BCB and Brazil.
Outside of school I am a keen footballer, having played for my local professional team before university. My travels around the world always inspire me and I love nothing more than learning how to cook a dish from a place that I visit.
