Having visited and travelled across Brazil in 2017, I fell in love with the country, culture and its people. I was born and raised in London but I have also lived and taught children in New York and Beijing, where I developed a wealth of experience and knowledge that I am keen to build upon. Both proved to be rewarding and enjoyable experiences, where I was able to further develop my skills as a teacher; skills which I now look forward to bring with me to The British College of Brazil.
- Psychology and Criminology from Canterbury Christ Church University
- PGCE Primary Education - London Metropolitan University
- TEFL Certificate
I have a primary teaching qualification from London Metropolitan University (PGCE) and a degree in Psychology and Criminology attained at Canterbury Christ Church University. Having taught a range of year groups (Y3, Y4 and Y5), I have developed a deeper understanding of the British National Curriculum with regards to the 'bigger picture', I constantly strive to deliver a more productive and enjoyable learning experience for every child that I have the pleasure of teaching.
As a person I am passionate about teaching children, exploring new cultures and being immersed in a challenging environment. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, skiing, visiting the theatre and working with underprivileged children.
I am very excited about living in Brazil and having the opportunity to learn the language, explore the country further and teach at BCB where the children are wonderful, full of enthusiasm and totally committed to learning.
