I studied Psychology at the University of Sussex, specialising in Cognitive, Social and Developmental Psychology, all of which support my understanding of education and the learning process. I was then able to begin to apply these theories when studying for my PGCE at the University of Brighton. Following this, I spent two very happy years teaching in Key Stage Two at a fantastic school in Brighton, where I was also PE co-ordinator.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Psychology, Postgraduate Certificate in Education - Primary (QTS), Certificate TESOL
A love of travel and adventure brought me to Brazil and I am thoroughly enjoying exploring this wonderful country. I love to be outside and active and particularly enjoy walking, cycling and running whether it be in the city or in more adventurous surroundings. I am interested in all kinds of sport and can usually be found in a football ground at the weekend or passionately telling some poor stranger about my love for various sporting teams. I also love to read and I probably spend an unhealthy amount of time indulging myself in books and anything sport or music related.
