Secondary Maths Teacher
I have always had a passion for teaching in general and maths in particular. After receiving my degree in Educational Mathematics I was a Maths teacher and a form tutor in several Middle and High Schools in Korea. I spent several years working with students to help them to prepare for High School and University. Being a form tutor helped me to form solid and professional bonds with my students which helped create a positive learning environment.
Head of Maths
Head of English
After completing my degree in English with Business Studies in 2008, I spent some time working in the wine industry. This experience taught me many valuable life skills, such as the importance of integrity, entrepreneurship and self-reflection. After some time living in Brazil, I was lucky to find my true calling in life: education. I moved to Brazil in 2014 and have been teaching an American curriculum in a school in São Paulo. Since then I have completed the PGCE international and am now fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work at BCB.
Secondary SEN Teacher
I was always very interested in everything related to nature, so I took a Biological Sciences degree course. During my graduation, I worked as a biology teacher and as a volunteer in a museum / paleontological center at the university I studied in. After that, I worked with early childhood education with children with special needs an experience that completely changed the way I see the world and taught me a lot.
Secondary Geography Teacher
Head of Modern Foreign Languages
Coming from a Spanish family, Spanish has always been a passion, I learned it from my family as a beautiful linguistic heritage.
My specific training is Brazilian Literature, Textual Production and Spanish Language.
I've been teaching Portuguese and Spanish for eleven years, I love what I do, I love my students and I love being surrounded by children.
Secondary Science and Biology Teacher
My mom always reminds me that during childhood I played at being a scientist. I was fascinated by the experiments I watched on educational TV programs, read in books, and always tried to reproduce them at home. Somehow, I was introduced to abstraction and phenomena, which would later influence me in choosing my academic career.
