Modern Foreign Languages teacher

I have always wanted to be a teacher and I actually started doing it when I was 15 years old and some friends asked me for help in Portuguese. Since then, I have followed my path in Education and Languages. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature - Portuguese and Spanish - and a Bachelor in Education from the University of Sāo Paulo. During my Bachelor's, I received a scholarship to study at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, in Argentina, for a semester. After graduating, I did a Master in Latin American Literature and wrote a thesis about de Puerto Rican writer Eduardo Lalo.

I have been a Spanish, English and Portuguese teacher in many preparatory courses. Besides that, I had the opportunity to work in a publishing house model that is really common in Latin America: the editorial cartonera. It was a great opportunity to get to know the books, the literature, and the language universe from a different perspective which I find very enriching inside a classroom. I am looking forward to engaging the students with Portuguese and Spanish languages and cultures from every possible angle.
