Miss. Erica Caro

Erica Caro

Modern Foreign Languages Teacher

Teaching has always been my passion. Writing is another passion, which I had early on in my professional life.

I've been working for over 20 years teaching Portuguese and Spanish. I have extensive pedagogical experience and development of students' autonomy in class, with preparation of tests and exercises for classroom activities.

I worked in creation of briefing and content for websites, blogs and educational platforms; class assignments, organization of teaching materials (printed handouts); reading and elaboration of reports to accompany the pedagogical activities and validation of teaching materials in Spanish.

In 2001, because a research individual project, I traveled to Argentina and  I learnt more about Argentinian culture. I had the amazing chance to study Spanish as a second language for general communication. In September 2018, I finished my Post-Graduation on Portuguese Teaching and Literature at Federal Technological University of Paraná.

In my free time, I like to read books and write novels, especially in Spanish. I work as a life coach, one of my other trainings.  I enjoy going to the theatre, opera and cinema with my husband and friends.
