Secondary Geography Teacher

  • Have worked as a Geography teacher in various schools in England

I am BCB’s new Geography Teacher! I have arrived from the UK, and I am looking forward to meeting some people, and learning and exploring Brazilian culture.

I have worked as a Geography teacher in various schools in England, where I studied Geography at undergraduate level, then later, pursued a career in teaching.

What inspired me to teach was my passion for Geography, where I love learning about people, places and environments. My second passion was being able to work with young people. It was only when I embarked on volunteer opportunities abroad that I began interacting with young people and learnt how much I enjoy this, which therefore, inspired me to begin my teacher training.  Some volunteer projects I have been involved in include: Starting a food bank charity in Ukraine; working and living within an international community to develop and eco-village in Kosovo and delivering Health and Sanitation based lessons in schools in India.

I look forward to my time at BCB, learning, living and being able to explore Brazil and the wider South America.
