Mr. Giorgio Papini

Papini

Secondary Music Teacher

I graduated from The University of West London with a BMus (Hons) 1st class in Pop Performance and Recording and then went on to take my Post Graduation Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Roehampton, also in London. I have taught music and languages for many years and absolutely love sharing my knowledge with my students.

I am very passionate about teaching, playing, and producing music. Prior to being a teacher I was working as a professional musician in London playing over 140 gigs a year as a solo artist, in bands or accompanying singers. I am also a songwriter and love composing music for film.

I believe every child should study music, as it offers incredible transferable skills, which will be very valuable in all their lives. Children improve self-confidence, motor skills, learn how to work as a group, and develop their creativity.

It is very exciting to be joining BCB in São Paulo, a place where I was born and I am very happy to return to. I have got amazing plans for our music department and I cannot wait to share musical adventures with our students!
