My mom always reminds me that during childhood I played at being a scientist. I was fascinated by the experiments I watched on educational TV programs, read in books, and always tried to reproduce them at home. Somehow, I was introduced to abstraction and phenomena, which would later influence me in choosing my academic career.
My academic life, from the beginning, during my graduation in Biology and my sudden interest in research, until the moment when I finished my post-doctorate at The University of Nottingham in the UK, all the events that occurred during this process are part of a path created by me and motivated by personal choices. All the stages experienced at work, teaching internships and all the multi and interdisciplinary influence I have brought with me in these years have driven me to want, with dedication, to become a teacher.
I commit to dedicate myself to teaching and encouraging students to dream of a bright future for themselves and the enrichment of Science.
