It brings me great pleasure that Nord Anglia has provided me the opportunity to come and teach at the British College of Brazil, not only because I know how outstanding the students are at this school but also to explore many regions of South America which is one of my many passions.
I attended the Queen Mary University of London for three years studying BA Geography where I obtained an Upper Second Class Honours degree and grew a particular fondness for studying people and cultures all over the world. However, there are also many areas of the physical world in which we live that I love to explore and learn more about. I then undertook a PGCE course at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent so that I could fulfill my dream of becoming a Geography Teacher.
I have been teaching the IBDP for six years having arrived from a grammar school in Kent - Tonbridge Grammar School. Prior to that, I first discovered the joys of teaching IB Geography at Dartford Grammar School and often look back on my time there with fond memories, having seen countless students go on to achieve amazing careers.
I am thoroughly looking forward to my time here in Sao Paulo, Brazil and engaging with the inquisitive of students that learn here at the British College of Brazil.
