  • Graduated with a Media degree from the University of Sunderland 
  • Worked at language schools in Sao Paulo since 2009

I was born in the northeast of England where I grew up and attended school in Newcastle. I graduated with a Media degree from the University of Sunderland in 2004. I started my career in education in 2009 in Sao Paulo working at a language school.  In 2020 I moved back to the UK to study at Goldsmiths, University of London graduating with a PGCE Secondary in Media with English. I am married to a Brazilian, Marina and I have two daughters Julia, 7, and Luisa, 3. I speak English and Portuguese. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, researching recipes, and sourcing food. I also like to play guitar/bass and sing. I am a fanatical supporter of Sunderland Association Football Club.
