Daniel Florentino dos Santos

Music Teacher

It has been great to work at the BCB, here I have the chance to work with the latest tools to deliver the best education to our pupils and I am always supported by a fantastic team. As a Nord Anglia school at the BCB we are constantly training to develop our teaching skills, and everyone is always keen to help each other on daily basis.

I hold a degree in Music Education by the Universidade Federal de São Carlos  and a diploma in Classical Guitar. I am always studying to enhance my teaching skills, so I still have private lessons “a teacher should never stop to be a student”.

I have worked at some other schools in São Paulo and before that I have also worked as an entertainer both in São Paulo and in New Zealand where I lived for three years playing mostly Latin Jazz and MPB. During this years (Down Under) I had the chance to play with many good musicians and learned many different kinds of music.
I love spending time with my family and close friends, reading, watching movies, travelling to cold places, listening to classical music and some kinds of popular music as well. I am engaged with Native American rights and I like doing researches about this subject.

I want to become a better musician, a better music teacher and specially a better person because I believe we can always enhance ourselves in many ways perhaps in every way.
