Music Teacher

At BCB there is a strong emphasis on music from a young age, students are engaged in performances and excited to take part in ensembles. I feel that the diversity of cultures we have here enriches the capacity that music has, as an universal language, to unite and socialize our students regardless their different backgrounds.

I attended the Tatuí Conservatory where I specialized in 20th Century Piano Repertoire, Chamber Music and Piano Pedagogy. I also had the chance to learn the harpsichord and experiment with Early Music. Later on, I went to study at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul where a graduated in Piano Performance and also the Universidade Federal de São Carlos, attending the music education program.
I taught at different music schools and conservatories in São Paulo and Tatuí before accepting the music teacher role at BCB. The years I spent teaching different aged students were rewarding and broaden my teaching abilities. My background as performer gave me important tools to prepare students both technically and psychologically for the stage. The aspects of dealing with a multicultural environment like BCB were a great opportunity for me to challenge myself as a teacher and I’m really enjoying that.

Outside school, I give some solo and chamber concerts and during my free time I enjoy travelling & trying new local food, socializing with friends and learning new languages.
