JASIS Big Sing – The Power of Singing

What a joyful Saturday was had by all our talented young singers at the JASIS Big Sing event at the weekend.

30 NAS Jakarta students joined with over 100 students from across Java to take part in this inaugural event. Throughout the day the children attended a series of workshops on vocal training, performance techniques, and learning a group song. The day culminated in a fantastic concert where every school choir sang a piece prepared in advance and then the whole group came together as a Big Sing Choir to sing ‘The Circle of Life’. It was wonderful to hear these amazing voices come together in this performance and fantastic to see the children making new friends and working together in their shared passion for music.
