House Activities

The House activities have started with a big bang in BSY this year. The Vikings sent out a huge message last year as reigning Champions but all Houses have begun hot on their heels this year. So far, there have been numerous opportunities for Houses and House members to individually and collectively gain points for their Houses. So far, there has been the Global Campus 2K Challenge, which involved a mixture of both Primary & Secondary students and staff and was narrowly won by the Saxons. For September, the top House in both Primary & Secondary for collecting House points within lessons has been the Normans, amassing 115 merits already. And last week, Secondary students performed their new House Anthems live, with the Vikings coming first in a very close and entertaining competition.

At the end of September, the current standings are as follows:-

Vikings - 151 pts.   Normans - 150 pts.    Saxons - 138 pts.   Romans - 118 pts

It is very early days, with plenty of points still to play for but September has been proof that all contributions to the House system really do count, from everyone. There is a long way to go and plenty of points to play for still, so keep up the good work everyone and best of luck.
