In Years 3-6, we offer the opportunity to enjoy an annual residential trip outside of Yangon. In Year 2, the children will take part in a sleepover at school. These opportunities are of great benefit in supporting independence, leadership and teamwork, maturity and self-esteem. For many pupils, they are the highlight of the year.
In the Secondary school, we offer the opportunity for our students to enjoy residential trips in every year group and, where appropriate, ensure they have a curriculum focus. A residential calendar will be published in November 2018 with the scheduled trips for the academic year 2018/2019.
For those students in Year 10 that enjoy a real challenge, we are launching the International Duke of Edinburgh Award in the academic year 2018/2019. This award is designed to enhance the life experience of students through personal challenge and work in the community. For more information please visit - www.intaward.org
