We are incredibly proud to celebrate a major milestone at BSY — our first‑ever BSYMUN Conference! This exciting event brought together 57 passionate and articulate Secondary students, all stepping confidently into the world of diplomacy, global collaboration, and international problem‑solving.

From the very beginning, our students demonstrated exceptional commitment. Their diplomatic attitude, careful research, and thorough attention to detail truly elevated the conference. What made this inaugural event even more inspiring was seeing so many students participate in MUN for the very first time — yet speaking with confidence, presenting well‑supported arguments, and engaging in respectful negotiation just like real world leaders.

šŸ¤ Representing Nations, Debating Global Issues, and Drafting Resolutions

Throughout the day, each student represented an assigned country and delivered a speech reflecting the global interests of their nation. Backed by strong research and thoughtful analysis, delegates debated key topics, challenged one another’s ideas, and collaborated on real‑world solutions.

Following the general debate, students formed working groups to draft formal resolutions — the cornerstone of every Model United Nations conference. We would like to extend a special congratulations to those delegations whose resolutions were selected, debated, and voted on. This achievement reflects not only academic effort but also teamwork, diplomacy, and flexibility — essential skills for future global leaders.

🌐 A Global NAE Experience

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family, BSY students regularly connect with peers from NAE schools around the world. The launch of BSYMUN reflects our continued dedication to giving students truly global experiences. Through conferences, collaborations, and shared initiatives, our young leaders engage with international relations, geography, economics, and world affairs in meaningful and authentic ways.

These opportunities help them develop confidence, cultural understanding, critical thinking, and leadership — preparing them for success in an increasingly interconnected world.

🌱 Looking Ahead to BSYMUN 2027: Environmental Protection in the Caribbean

Building on the excitement of this year’s event, we are thrilled to announce that the theme for BSYMUN 2027 will be “Environmental Protection in the Caribbean.” This topic will challenge our future delegates to think deeply about sustainability, global responsibility, and environmental cooperation.
We cannot wait to see how our students grow and prepare for this next big step in their MUN journey.

šŸŽ„ Hear Directly From Our Students!

Our BSY delegates have shared their inspiring experiences — stepping into the shoes of world leaders, negotiating across cultures, debating global issues, and learning what it truly means to be a diplomat. The BSYMUN programme is a challenging but rewarding journey that builds confidence, sharpens critical thinking, and develops future ready skills. Watch their reflections here.

Congratulations once again to all of our amazing BSYMUN participants. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and global mindset make us incredibly proud. Here’s to many more conferences — and many future ambassadors in the making! 🌟
