Nico Van De Casteele

Nico Van De Casteele

Chemistry & Science Teacher

Mr Casteele has 36 years of teaching experience, having previously taught in Belgium, Seychelles, UK, Botswana, Lesotho, Thailand, Dubai, China and Myanmar. Mr Casteele has held the position of head of department, head of sixth form and IB coordinator.

Qualifications

Masters in Education in an international context.

About

Mr Casteele is passionate about teaching mainly chemistry but has also taught physics, biology, coordinate science, geography and even agriculture in Botswana and fisheries in the Seychelles, without catching anything. Mr Casteele is keen to continue exploring recent scientific evidence regarding the learning process and how these can be applied practically in the classroom enhancing the learning. Outside the classroom Mr Casteele has a particular interest in football, swimming, cycling and travel and is hoping to explore more of Myanmar. Looking forward to exploring more of Myanmar.
