About
Educated at the Royal Masonic School for Girls in Hertfordshire as a boarder for eight years, Mrs Fox went on to gain a BA (Leeds) in English and French and also holds a Masters degree in Education (Leadership & Management). Exchange programmes during her degree studies both at the University of Grenoble (French) and at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam (Linguistics) gave her an early taste for living overseas.
Mrs Fox has taught in both international and UK schools including two other Nord Anglia schools; The British International School Bratislava and The British School Warsaw as well as an Ofsted outstanding girls’ Grammar school in the UK. Most recently she has been Head of Secondary at The British School Warsaw for the last six years having been at the school for the last nine years. TBS was Nord Anglia’s first international school. Considered a flagship school, it educates over 1000 students, 550 of which are in the Secondary school. Prior to entering teaching, Mrs Fox worked for over ten years with an international airline and has also worked in British Embassies in Beijing, Dubai and Casablanca.
International travel and the diversity experienced through it is a key factor to our inter-cultural understanding and global citizenship. Mrs Fox loves travelling and has lived in several different countries including China, Iran, UAE, Slovakia, Poland and Morocco mostly through her husband’s job in the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office. She has two children – William, just embarking on his career as an assistant economist with Defra and Annabel, currently studying medicine at Exeter. Whilst international travel and living is central to her family and professional life, she calls Yorkshire her home and always enjoys returning there to catch up with family friends and hike in the glorious Yorkshire countryside.
