Nydia Manzanares

Elementary School Assistant Principal

Nydia is originally from Honduras although she has also lived in the United States and Costa Rica. She is one of the MET's founding teachers. Before joining the MET as a homeroom teacher in 2011, Nydia had acquired 20 years of experience teaching at different grade levels. She worked at the American School of Tegucigalpa and the Discovery School of Tegucigalpa. In 2018, Nydia was appointed Assistant Elementary School Principal. 

Nydia strongly believes in personalized learning as each child is unique and learns in a different pace and style.

Three of her daughters also attend the MET since its founding, and continue to be proud MET students in our Secondary School.
