Live Lunch

05 November 2015

Tuesday, 3rd November saw the first Live Lunch of the year. There were some spectacular performances and all audience members – students, staff and visitors alike – thoroughly enjoyed the show. It all began with year 11 students Anna, Katty, Jenny and Hai performing a mash-up of Style and Blank Space. Jolie then thrilled the audience with her version of Adele’s new hit Hello followed by Thomas and Bao Tran from year 13, who performed Demons by Imagine Dragons.

Sophia, Thai and Tracy – year 11 – brought some Vietnamese flavour to proceedings with Yeu before Magda (year 11) thoroughly entertained the audience with a violin performance of Say You Do. Finally, Sam (year 13) gave us a phenomenal version of Skyfall by Adele to rapturous applause.

My thanks to Phat for helping promote the event, and thanks also to Ms Truc for allowing us, once again, to use the wonderful library. Thank to Mr Dung for his hard work in helping to prepare the tracks and operating the sound.

Well done everyone!
