Community Mufti Day Fundraising Update

On Friday, November 27th, the Community Learning Programme held a Mufti Day across the whole of BVIS. In the Primary School all staff and students wore red in an effort to promote Quality Education for all. Funds raised across the Primary School will be donated to our newest link school, Chuyen Biet Rang, and the development of their outdoor learning facilities.

Across the Secondary School, staff and students were raising awareness of all Global Goals for Sustainable Development. Participants wore the colour of their favourite goal; it was a lovely rainbow of awareness. Funds raised across the Secondary School will be donated to an environmentally sustainable NPO, chosen by some of our KS3 students.

The Community Learning Team appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm and support in our effort to maintain strong links within our local community and to make a global impact through education. We would like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who donated and took part.
