Congratulations to our Secondary students for their excellent results in the 2023-2024 international A Level and IGCSE exams. These remarkable results are a well-deserved reward for the relentless efforts of both students and teachers, and they affirm the exceptional quality of BVIS's international education! 

A Level 2024 Results (end of Year 13)

Grades are awarded between A*- E for International A level. Any grade between A*- E is a pass.  

• 52% of grades at A Level were A*-A  
• 69% of grades at A Level were A*-B  
• 84% of grades at A Level were A*-C  
• 97% of grades at A Level were A*-E

Our A Level results are significantly higher compared with UK figures!

• BVIS HCMC students achieved 52% of their grades at A*-A this year, significantly surpassing the UK average of 27.6%.
• 69% students achieving A*- B grades compared to the UK average of 54.2%.
• 84% of students' grades were A*-C, well above the UK average of 76.8%.

AS Level Results 2024 (end of Year 12)   

Grades are awarded between A - E for International AS level.  

• 51% of all grades were A - B  
• 68% of all grades were A - C 
• 88% of all grades were A – E 

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) 2024 Results (end of Year 11)

Grades were awarded by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) or Pearson Edexcel on a scale from A* to G. 

• 44% of all our grades were A* - A  
• 68% of all our grades were A* - B  
• 84% of all our grades were A*- C 
• 76% students achieved 5 or more A*- C (including Mathematics & English)

Our IGCSE Results 2024 are Significantly Higher Than UK Figures

• 44% students achieving A*- A grades, significantly higher than the UK average of 22.6% (A/7 and above)
• 84% students achieving A*- C grades compared to the UK average of 70.4% (C/4 and above)

In the 2023-2024 academic year, 1 in 2 graduates from BVIS were accepted into top 50 universities worldwide. These outstanding scores in international exams will help students build impressive personal profiles and open numerous opportunities to conquer prestigious universities in the Ivy League, Russell Group, and Group of Eight, such as the University of Pennsylvania, New York University, University of California-Irvine, Imperial College, King’s College London, and the University of Toronto. These achievements will also enhance their chances of securing generous scholarships!
