The 1 Scholarship Programme for the 2025–2026 academic year is open to outstanding Secondary students who aspire to thrive in BVIS’s dynamic international learning environment. This scholarship offers a gateway to a personalised educational journey, tailored to each student’s strengths, interests, and potential. By delivering the prestigious National Curriculum of England alongside the rich values of Vietnamese culture, BVIS provides a world-class international education that empowers students to become well-rounded individuals – confident, creative, grounded in identity, and globally minded.

Eligibility

Only students who fulfill the below criteria are eligible to apply for the BVIS The 1 Scholarship Programme. The scholarship is not open to current students at BVIS HCMC and other Nord Anglia Education’s schools. 

• Age group: from 11 to 16 years old 
• Candidates shall be able to demonstrate outstanding academic performance during the last two school years. 
• Candidates shall be able to demonstrate excellent extra-curricular activities, not limited to specific performance or sporting talents, competitions, and leadership skills. 

Value

The 1 Scholarship offers benefits of up to 211 million VND, including:

• 100% Application Fee waiver
• 100% Registration Fee waiver
• Up to 20% tuition fee reduction for Secondary students ranging from Years 7–12

Please note: The scholarship is applicable for one academic year only (2025–2026)

Timeline

Timeline Process
1st – 12th June 2025 Application submission:Candidates submit their required applications and will be invited to The 1 Scholarship assessment date at BVIS HCMC.
16th – 18th June 2025 ‘The 1’ Round: Candidates are assessed and interviewed by BVIS HCMC’s Principal and Head of Secondary.
19th – 20th June 2025 Candidates are informed of the results of their scholarship application.

Terms
• The scholarship excludes security deposit, uniform, school bus, school trips and any paid extra-curricular activities. 
• The scholarship is not convertible to cash nor transferable to any other students. 
• BVIS HCMC reserves the right to only accept candidates who are eligibly qualified to receive the scholarship. 
• Should there be any deception or lack of integrity in the application form, test or interview, BVIS shall reserve the right to terminate the scholarship interests of students who violate the regulation 

Registration procedure 

Required documents for a successful applicant: 

• Student’s latest 4x6 portrait photo 
• Scholarship registration application form (download HERE)
• A copy of the latest 2 years school reports  
• A copy of passport or birth certificate 
• Supporting documents that are evidence of extra-curricular activities, talents competition or leadership ability if any

Unsuccessful The 1 scholarship application forms will not be returned.
