KS2 Swimming Galas

19 June 2015

Year 3 and Year 4 Swimming Gala

Competitive races were held first followed by two fun activities to involve all children. BVIS fosters team work and the Year 3 and Year 4 children demonstrated this wonderfully as they worked together in their four house teams to swim across the pool with giant floats and to capture toys from the water. Great swimming and great fun!

Thanks to the PE department, especially Mr Tam, for the organisation of this event.

Year 5 and Year 6 Swimming Gala

We saw quick, strong and determined swimming during the first part of the gala as the children who had successfully won their heats (held prior to the gala itself) swam in competitive races. All Year 5 and Year 6 children were then involved in team races. There was great team spirit as the children, teachers and parents cheered for their houses!

In the Primary assembly, it was announced that the overall winners of this year’s Primary swimming galas were Hanoi!

Thanks to the PE department, especially Mr Tam, for the organisation of this event.
