Moon Festival celebrations at BVIS

28 September 2015

This week was Book Week in the Primary School…and next week we will celebrate the Moon Festival. We hope you can join us for the following events:

Tuesday 29th September at 08:30

Bring your children to school and stay for a Dragon Dance performance on the school field. The whole school will come outside to watch this spectacular event so please come too!

Tuesday 29th September at 10:00

There will be refreshments available for parents and visitors in the Sunken Garden after the Dragon Dance and then you are invited to the Main Hall at 10:00 for our whole school Moon Festival performance of music, costume and dance. Year 1, Year 3 and some Secondary students will be performing on stage so don’t miss this colourful annual BVIS spectacle!

Wednesday 30th September

Families are invited to school on Wednesday too for our Early Years Moon Festival celebrations. Bring your child to school and join in with some creative activities in the classroom before accompanying the children to the Main Hall at 09:15 for storytime, games, a lantern parade and special snack.
