Mr Paul Holyome Weekly Update - 16/12/2016

16 December 2016

  • Paul 1612

Dear parents

So we have reached the end of another successful term here at BVIS. It has been a fantastically busy term as ever with lots of event, activities and of course some fantastic learning.

Last Saturday we hosted our third ‘Christmas Delights’ event. Each year this event appears to get bigger and better and I was delighted to see so many of you there. We have already started to think of further improvements for the event next year. Our focus now turn to the TET festival celebrations next term.

I would like to congratulate all the secondary students who received an award at the assembly on Wednesday. Amongst the awardees were a number of students who have received certificates for achieving the best A Level and IGCSE examination scores in their subject worldwide or in Vietnam. This is huge testament to their hard work and the support of their teachers and families to achieve such high success. Well done to all.

We concluded the term with the now famous ‘Staff Pantomime’. This has now become a much anticipated climax to the end of term. The audience were again wowed with outstanding ability of our staff to put together such a fun and entertaining show for all.

Finally, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very safe and happy holiday with your family and friends.

School will reopen for students on Wednesday 4th January at 8.30.
