This week in the Primary School – Ms. Rosy Clark 01/04/2016

01 April 2016

“Jack in the Beanstalk”

Our Early Years children all participated in their annual production this week. As dancers and fluffy clouds, as well as the main characters of Jack, mother, the cow, the giant, chicken and harp, our youngest children brought the story of “Jack in the Beanstalk” to life on stage.

These children, as young as two and no older than five, showed no anxiety or fear as they performed their songs and lines in front of a large audience and on a huge stage. I am always amazed at how confident and happy our young BVIS performers are.

Many thanks to all the teaching assistants and teachers in our Early Years department for creating the beautiful scenery, fabulous costumes and for supporting the children to sing and perform so confidently.

Next week, we look forward to the Year 4 production of “The Wind in the Willows” on Friday 1

April in the Main Hall at 08:30
