So we have reached the end of what has been another incredible term here at the British Vietnamese International School. The students and staff have worked incredibly hard again to ensure the school has continued to sustain a very high level of progress.
Thank you to all the families that attended the ‘Xmas Delights’ event on Saturday. We had the largest number of attendees yet and a lot of fun was had by all. Each year the event gets bigger and better and we have already started to think about further improvements for next year.
So much happens here in the final week of term and that means that the students and staff work tirelessly right up to the last day. This week I had the immense pleasure of attending:
- Staff and student dodgeball competition
- An open morning for prospective parents
- A special Christmas lunch for all students and staff
- Christmas parties in primary
We ended the week and the term with what has now become a very popular annual event, the teacher led pantomime. A wonderful way to finish the long term!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, the students and all our families for making BVIS such a very special place to be.
So it just leaves me to wish you all a very happy and relaxing winter break. School will open again on Monday 8th January for students. We look forward to welcoming everyone back then.
Have a very safe and happy holiday.
