Our Year 11 Business studies students recently went on a trip to Ho Chi Minh Securities Corporation (HSC) and Bến Thành Market. Mr. Le Cong Thien, the Deputy CEO of HSC, spoke to them about the stock market, a brokerage firm and the options of working in the financial services sector.
Students were able to look at the similarities and differences in determining a price in the stock market compared to prices in a goods market as they interviewed customers and vendors in Bến Thành Market.
This trip allowed students to build upon the knowledge they have gained in their study of business and see how the theory works in practice and helped them think about future career choices.
After a long and rewarding term we are have had a lovely end of term assembly celebrating some of the highlights of what the students have achieved.
