This week in the Primary School

Early Years’ Superheroes Bootcamp

An annual event which is always colourful, fun and a visible reminder of our close links with our sister school, BIS, is when our Early Years department welcomes the teachers and children from BIS Tu Xuong campus to a morning of activities and shared play.

This year the theme was “Superheroes”. The event helped our youngest children to remember that both boys and girls can be strong, caring and helpful towards others.

Residential Trips

For the past two weeks I have been away from school, firstly with the Year 4 classes in Long Hai and then last week with the Year 6 classes in Hoi An. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the children and teachers.

I particularly enjoyed receiving compliments from members of the public who were impressed by the behaviour of our children and I loved seeing how the children gained in confidence and independence through the experience of their trip.

A big thank you to Ms Jo and Ms Phuc (Year 3), Ms Lan (Year 4), Ms Tram (Year 5) and Ms Nga (Year 6) who are this year’s residential trips and Y3 sleepover leaders.
