Secondary Update – Mr Jack Rudin – 19/1/2018

19 January 2018

  • j

Dear Parents,

We have had some great successes this week with our Boys basketball team achieving a victory with a score of 18-10. It is the boys and their coach have been training and practising throughout the holiday and this only goes to show how hard work and dedication pays off, well done to all of them and Mr McConnell their coach.

At the start of the year a group of year 11 and 12 students approached me to ask if they could start EVOS “Enterprise -Visionary- Opportunities Seekers”. They had a plan to run a series of talks inviting business leaders and outstanding professionals from Ho Chi Minh to talk to our students about Career opportunities and give them advice on how to plan the next steps of their studies. This week Mr Canh Tran spoke to them about his career and experiences and gave a wealth of advice on entry to university in the USA,

If is great to see our students taking the initiative and leading on projects to help others within their community.

Have a great weekend
