A few years ago, our school together with support from our community, were able to raise funds to support children who needed heart operations in Vietnam. We are delighted to inform that you that we have now connected with a new partner ‘Vinacaptial Foundation’ and are again able to support children with live-saving heart operations through their ‘Heartbeat Vietnam’ program.

In November, the Vinacaptial programme celebrated saving the lives of 8,000 children from congenital heart defects and we are proud to announce that BVIS has been able to sponsor two more operations for children in the last week at Tam Duc Hospital, in District 7.
The first was a small baby girl who had surgery on the 30th November. She is now recovering and is able to drink milk and eat porridge. The second is a 3-year-old boy who had surgery on 28th November. He is now looking much healthier and has been getting back a normal appetite. We all feel proud to be able to support our wider Vietnamese community.
We aim to continue our partnership with Vinacapital Foundation and will keep you updated with future ways that we can all help.
Thanks for your continued support of BVIS and our community partners. More updates about our Central Vietnam Flood appeal will be coming in the New Year.
